Isiah Gary, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 2, when a Darien Police officer on patrol observed a vehicle without a front license plate, said Darien Police Sgt. James Palmieri.
Gary also appeared to be using a cell phone while driving, he added.
Once stopped, the officer discovered that Gary had a bench warrant for not responding to a violation issued by the Stamford Police in August 2018 in regards to possession of marijuana, Palmieri said.
